A self discovery journey...

Hi friend, I am Eric. I like to think of myself as an affluent yet deprived person. For years, I felt trapped in this space of inadequacy that my own mind had built. I'm a person who overflowing with creativity—limitless ideas and inspiration, but for the longest time, those rich resources were held back by my own feelings of inadequacy. Most of the things I created came from a place of trying to fill that void, and as you might imagine, when your actions are driven by a sense of lack, they often lead you in circles.

The feeling of inadequacy washes over me day after day, like relentless waves crashing against the shore, until I reached a breaking point and told myself, “Enough is enough.” I’d spent so much time trying to fight off this feeling of inadequacy, only to end up exhausted. But slowly, I started to see the incredible wealth within me—the creativity I had to offer and the value I could share with the world. And with that realization came a shift in perspective: if I’ve already tried so hard, what’s left to lose by focusing on giving instead of holding back?

That’s when I decided to rebrand my business. Yes, I still sell physical products—it’s how I make my living—but now I’ve also turned my business into a platform to share my creativity. I’m offering tutorials and patterns to the public, for free. I’ll admit, it’s been a struggle to let go of my old mindset. Giving things away for free feels counterintuitive when you’ve spent so long feeling like you don’t have enough. But I figured…why not try? Who knows where this journey of giving might take me?

This is the start of a new chapter in my life.

Sure, that feeling of inadequacy still lingers, but I’ve taken the first step out of that endless whirl. I don’t know what’s ahead—whether things will get harder or easier—but I remind myself: If I could get through the days when I could barely afford rent, then I have the strength to keep going. You never really know what’s possible until you try.

Honestly, I don’t know how far I’ll go with this. But for now, I have a direction: “Giving value to people.” And that’s what I’ll focus on with this platform—sharing the patterns and tutorials I create for free. It’s my way forward, and I’m excited to see where it leads.

If you’d like to know more about me...

I consider myself one of the most artsy individuals you’ll meet—I’m skilled in sewing, leathercraft, drawing, painting, singing, Chinese calligraphy, clay sculpting, woodworking, interior decoration and hand embroidery. My passion lies in creating new art and bringing my ideas to life, as repetitive tasks tend to leave me feeling stuck.

Some of my proudest achievements are the innovations I’ve developed, including the hoop frame and hoopless frame specifically designed for hoop art framing, as well as the needlework tool and supplies tray. Over the years, I’ve sold thousands of these frames and trays. It’s a special feeling to know that something I created is being used by so many people to preserve and showcase what they cherish.
